Productive Therapy Teams Event
The Stroke network hosted an event on 26th April at Tameside General Hospital to help therapy teams become more efficient and effective.
The day was attended by over 40 people from across the region. The morning focused on:
- Understanding the evidence from the ReAcT study
- Previous work carried out by the Stroke Improvement Programme
- Sharing best practice from other teams in Devon, Doncaster and North Manchester
There then followed a session identifying key themes including managing change, ways of working to reduce variation, data collection and management, creating head space to think differently and reviewing processes.
The afternoon featured workshops to help attendees start planning how they could start translating these themes into action in their own teams. A follow up event to help develop change management skills is being planned.
